Privacy Policy
This policy covers vsyou.app and the VSYOU app. It explains what we collect when you use VSYOU to run tasks, habits and challenges, and how that information is handled.
What we collect
- Account details you provide, such as your name, phone number or email.
- Tasks, habits and challenges you create, join or are assigned to.
- Proof you submit — photo, video, screenshot or voice note — for a challenge.
- Usage data such as streaks, completions and app activity, to run the product.
- If you opt in to WhatsApp or Telegram reminders, the minimum data needed to send you those messages.
- Billing details for Pro or Teams plans, handled by our payment processor.
How we use it
- To run the core product: tasks, streaks, challenges, proof and leaderboards.
- To power the AI feature that turns what you say or type into a task.
- To send reminders and nudges you’ve asked for or been sent by someone you know.
- To bill Pro and Teams subscriptions, and to provide support.
Who can see your proof and activity
Proof and progress inside a challenge are visible only to the people in that specific challenge or group, never the public and never other users outside it. Global challenges are the exception: if you join one, your progress is visible to everyone else in that challenge, by design.
Third-party integrations
WhatsApp and Telegram reminders are opt-in and, as noted on this site, integration-ready but not yet live. Once enabled, they’ll only be used to deliver the reminders and challenge actions you’ve explicitly agreed to receive, in line with each platform’s own policies.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time via our contact page.
Children’s privacy
VSYOU is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update this page as VSYOU evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
